Thank you for visiting my blog.  If this is your first time here, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the stories about ordinary people doing extraordinary things.  I think you will agree that every day we have opportunities to encourage someone else and add value to their life in some way.  This blog is about people, either individually or through a business, who do just that.

This blog was started to fulfill requirements for my B.S. Business Administration degree, with a focus on public relations. Lots of life experience and connections with people attribute to my desire to help others through my experiences. I am married to an IT guy and have two wonderful grown children. My son is an architect and my daughter is a soon to be nurse. My son-in-law is an accountant. I have a wonderful job working in a local government office as a Staff Development and Communications Manager. I also am a Mary Kay consultant. I enjoy volunteering at the YWCA by helping families get a second chance at life after a struggle.
